Product Information

This product is made by Merial. Firocoxib, the active ingredient in Equioxx is designated as a class 4 substance by the ARCI for horses.

Active Ingredients

Firocoxib; artificially flavored: hickory smoke oil

Directions for User

The recommended dosage is one 57mg tablet, for oral administration in horses weighing 800-1300lbs, once daily for up to 14 days. May be given with or without food. Follow your veterinarian's instructions exactly when using this product. Equioxx tablets are scored to allow for partial tablet dosing, if recommended by the veterinarian.

Special Precautions

Horses with hypersensitivity to Firocoxib or other NSAIDS should not receive EQUIOXX oral paste. Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a physician in case of accidental ingestion by humans. For use in horses only. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
